Steve and Kirsty catered for my ‘special’ birthday party this summer. Their professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding. The food was exceptional, top quality ingredients beautifully prepared and presented. Most importantly we wanted to enjoy the party ourselves without having to worry about our guests and Steve, Kirsty and their staff saw to everything, ensuring everyone was never without a drink or food. A good time was had by all and I would highly recommend Fossil Food Catering.

Kirsty and Steve came to cater our Summer Party held on our premises in Somerset a few weeks ago. From the initial contact their enthusiasm shone through and Kirsty couldn’t do enough to make sure that our requirements were heard and met. Everything was clear and thorough through the entire planning process, and so on the day of the party things could not possibly have gone better. The food was incredible, Kirsty and Steve were gracious, thorough and professional from start to finish and all leftovers were packaged up for us (in our own containers) to keep and distribute for lunch the next day (which was just as delicious!) Would not hesitate to recommend!

We used Fossil Food for our wedding and they excelled giving us the perfect day. We went for a food tasting at their house first when they really looked after us and made us feel very at home without pushing anything we didn't want on us and listening carefully to exactly what we wanted. The team were incredibly hands on even noticing that the bride hadn't had any of the hog roast and coming to find her to make sure she didn't miss out. Heavily recommend they're awesome.

Just got back from a friends wedding where fossil food catered for us the whole weekend. Wow!!! We booked Kirsty and Steve to cater for a family meal to celebrate my mother in law’s 70th birthday. Kirsty was wonderful at helping us decide on a menu that would impress the adults and keep our four children happy too. The evening was a wonderful success. The children ate seconds and thirds of seasonal vegetables (!) and there were clean plates and happy faces all around. Kirsty and Steve were an absolute pleasure, so friendly and professional. They went above and beyond and their food was incredible. My brother in law said that they were the best three courses he’d eaten in a very long time.

Kirsty & Steve are absolutely fantastic!! From the start they were so friendly and personable - I knew I’d made the right choice. They also invited us round to theirs for a tasting evening to experience the food we’d chosen for our wedding day.
We felt so special and well looked after on the night. Steve made us a number of tasty canapés, followed by two delicious paella’s (meat/fish & vegan). Kirsty was the perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed. We then shared a dessert board which was just amazing. I knew that we had to book Fossil Food Catering for our big day!
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect - which was predominantly down to Kirsty & Steve’s hard work. When we arrived at Southover House for our reception - their catering staff were already expertly serving our guests with welcome drinks and canapés.
The Paella’s went down so well that the majority of our guests went up for seconds! Steve worked tirelessly to make sure that everyone was served in a timely fashion. Kirsty even came up to the top table to personally serve my food and top up my drink on a number of occasions which was so lovely.
Kirsty and Steve followed this by creating a beautiful dessert table - which literally disappeared in minutes after our guests were invited up from their tables!
I had so many compliments from our guests about the food, which also included an evening buffet...complete with freshly baked scones. We had quite a few vegetarians and vegans at the wedding who were genuinely impressed by the variety of options available for them on the day.
On a final note - the staff were just wonderful! Kirsty & Steve provided a number of individuals to staff our bar and to help clear up throughout the evening. The staff were so friendly and approachable that many of our guests commented on how impressed they were with the service on the night.

We had the most amazing and special family birthday celebration in Lyme Regis thanks to kirsty and Steve! The food was delicious and they did such a fantastic job. My family are all still talking about what lovely people they are and how amazing the food was!!! I would recommend them in a heartbeat!!!!

Kirsty and Steve provided the catering for our daughter Olivia’s Wedding. We had 2 tasting meals with them at their premises near Axminster in order to decide on the menu.
For the great day they set up their kitchen in our barn and produced delicious canapés for 250 people followed by a sit down dinner for nearly 200 which included a vegan/gluten free option. The next day they prepared the salads and vegetarian options for the hog roast lunch.
Kirsty and Steve could not have been more professional, calm, attentive and capable. They have a great attention to detail combined with a seemingly very relaxed manner both in the lead up and on the day. We really felt that they were totally committed to making Olivia and Russell’s Wedding the best it could possibly be…and it was fantastic!
We all really enjoyed their food tremendously and received countless compliments from the guests. Kirsty and Steve really excelled for us. A big, big thank you.
