From beginning to end Kirsty and Steve have wowed us with their creativity and attention to detail. Fossil Food catered for our wedding in July 2023 and we couldn't be happier with the food and the service we received. Steve is a genius, taking notes about our favourite foods and memorable experiences and turning it into the most incredible menu our guests still can't stop talking about. I am in awe of Kirtsy's organisation, her team were so professional and couldn't do enough to keep us and our guests happy on our day.
It was truly the best day of our lives thanks, in part, to the role Fossil Foods played. Everything from the canapés to the table presentation was just stunning and made for a really memorable day.

What can I say. Firstly an ENORMOUS thank you to Kirsty, Steve and their simply wonderful (in every way) team. They recently looked after us catering for our 10 year wedding anniversary in Dorset. The produce, the food, the team, the service, the attention to detail, the execution of a complicated event and the genuine fun and enjoyment they brought to a weekend was spectacular. We were blown away, along with our guests who all cannot speak highly enough about this. A hog roast with a hand reared pig - especially for us since the start of the year was done beautifully. So much crackling and so much delicious leftovers! And the main event, fruits de mer coupled with one of the most fantastic roast beef platters I have ever had - how on earth they did this for 100 people will always be beyond me. It was delightful - the seafood fresh and cooked brilliantly. The beef perfectly done with all the sides was unbelievable. This is before we even talk about how good the canapes were - along with fresh oysters, the likes of which I have never tasted before. Judging by the fact that we ran out of those very quickly tells you just how brilliant everything was - even the oyster-sceptics were sold! We can't thank Kirsty, Steve and Fossil Foods team enough. This was a genuinely spectacular occasion and we feel very lucky to have come across them. We will be using them again in future and we cannot wait. Thanks again guys, you are the best.

The Dream Team - Kirsty and Steve are the dream team when it comes to Wedding Caterers. Looking for a bespoke menu built around your experiences as a couple? That’s what we received. An incredible, deconstructed beef wellington; a beautiful chocolate mousse (the dessert we had at our engagement dinner); and a mouthwatering selection of canapés, not to mention Steve’s ‘Secret Recipe’ Buttermilk Chicken Tenders which we had for our evening food!

My husband and I cannot recommend them highly enough. We found Kirsty and Steve via their instagram page and were hooked by the content they were posting. Kirsty was so diligent in her research and wanted to find out what made us tick as a couple, which would then influence the menu they designed for us. We were a little nervous as they were slightly off patch for us, but all our worries vanished when we had our tasting. The food was cooked to perfection, the meat was tender, and the chocolate mousse was so light and fluffy while still packing a chocolatey punch. We loved our menu and Steve’s cooking. It was so good, we didn’t need to make any revisions and approved it at the first tasting.

We didn’t think it could get much better. That was until our wedding day. We had a marquee wedding, and I cannot understate the role that Kirsty played in helping us set up, running the day, and generally providing emotional support when it was needed! We had a total of 160 guests and fully appreciate Fossil’s efforts in catering for this many people. Their service was run professionally and smoothly, and we have since received many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was.

If you are looking for a unique, bespoke experience at your wedding to blow your guests away then Kirsty, Steve and the team at Fossil Foods are the people you need to go to. In the meantime, we’ll certainly be visiting their winter time take-away ‘Fossil on the Road’!

We are finally coming down to earth and wanted to send you an email to say Thank You to you and all of your team. You were absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make our day exactly how we wanted. You came with no preconceptions about how things “should” happen. Instead, you worked to understand our vibe and committed to work with us. The end product was something magnificent which had outstanding comments from everyone at the wedding. We are still enjoying the leftover Dorset apple cake! Working with you was an absolute delight and your team were all incredible. We loved having a little boogie with you at the end as well.

The most incredible menu and the best food I've ever had at a wedding. EVER! Fossil food are incredibly talented and have something so incredible going on. We’re so glad we went with Fossil Food for our wedding catering. The rustic style and relaxed approach suited us down to a tee. We love food so this was a really important part of our day and Fossil Food built this incredible menu for us based on what we like for us an our guests to enjoy and everyone really did. Steve even managed to pull off the most incredible scotch egg which was a firm favourite of ours and not an easy thing to do for over 100 people! The Scotch Egg King! I've never heard people talk about food so much at a wedding which shows just what an amazing job they did. The food and service were both fantastic and cannot recommend them enough. Kirsty and Steve are absolutely fantastic and we were so so glad we chose to have them at our wedding. From the start they were so receptive to our ideas and helped us design the perfect personalised menu that would work for our wedding. They were brilliant at correspondance and are also really lovely people to work with. The whole team are so fantastic too; so professional and helpful. When the weather was touch and go they were super flexible to moving all the drinks for the reception last minute. And the FOOD- absolutely incredible!! So many people said it was some of the best food they had had at a wedding, and it was really really special. Such an amazing team and amazing company, you really feel that they care. Best decision we made!
